Dementia Training

Crossroads Care Manager has attained qualifications which allow her to provide Dementia Awareness Sessions in the community.

The sessions are suitable for anybody who would like to develop their understanding and knowledge regarding dementia.

Training is bespoke to the audience in attendance, whether the trainees are unpaid carers, health and social care professionals, local authorities or businesses.

The training covers the following topics:

• The signs and symptoms of dementia
• How dementia can affect behaviour and communication
• How people can build stronger relationships with people who are living with dementia
